Interesting "ANACS" slab

It's well known that the holders were designed to be similar. Amos Press once owned ANACS.

 

EDITED TO ADD: I thought you were referring to the slab shape; I overlooked the part about the logo. I would be concerned about such a coin.

Was this a reappearance of the "anacs" 8675309 slab?

 

I'm not familiar with what you are talking about. This looked like a genuine ANACS insert and label inside a Coin World outer shell. I wasn't aware that they would fit.

Recent a fake ANACS slab made it's appearance on ebay with a fairly convincing label but a wrong style shell. The serial number on the slab was 8765309 which got a few good laughs because it was so familiar. It was "Jenny's" phone number from the Tommy Tutone song 867-5309/Jenny

It reached number 4 on the charts back in 1982. And it tends to have a great talent for getting stuck in your head.
