Question on dime

It looks like a legitimate "weak strike" to me, like a trial strike or something.

I don't think so James, the copper sandwich meat wouldn't show so much would it?

And from the rev picture it appears to have a well formed reeded edge. I don't think that would be the case on a weak strike that had that little detail. I'd say it's had "artifical" wear.
