found in a wall as the title of the ebay sellers ad says?? but he dont get that this is funny as it has a hidden meaning as the coin is one of those chinese replicas coming out of china the last few years by the ton and not marked as copy

 

so i said the the great wall of china

 

sort of a twist that make the ebay posting a riot as the seller could not have chosen a worse pun on words

The seller would have to be extremely uninformed and totally naive to not realize the value of this coin depends on TPG certification. On that circumstantial evidence alone the authenticity is very very questionable. But then the seller's photo carelessly reveals a whole bunch of these large cents of different early dates, just as you'd expect to obtain from a Chinese supplier, from whom (at least until recently) you could order fairly good counterfeits of complete date runs of these on ebay. Flagrant.

They are "dollars" not cents but that is how much it is worth. It must have been a Freudian slip on you behalf hmlol
