On It's Way to NCS

Didn't like the look of this coin even though it's in a PCGS PR68 CAM holder. It's a POP 27/0 coin. Just sent it to see what NCS may think about it.

I'll pass on the results when known. :)

57, the absolute key to the Jefferson Cameo series! I've only seen two, in thousands and thousands of 57 proof sets that I've looked through that I considered cameo. Hope they can get the haze off the fields for you.

I will be curious what they say

the blue tinge looks like it could be doctoring gone bad-

but it could just be the lighting and photo angle

Thanks for the comments so far. (thumbs u

An update:

NCS Submission Tracking states it's still "Scheduled for Evaluation", but they have assigned an NGC Submission Number and that Submission Number shows "Scheduled For Grading" on 05/16?

Grade has posted this morning and I'm a happy camper! :)

Called NCS and the Customer Service Rep said that NCS did feel the need to conserve the coin.

It is now in an NGC PF 69 Cameo Holder, POP 20/0.

NumisMedia price is at $810.

:whee:

When the coin returns I will send it off for professional imaging.
