2000 S FAT LINCOLN???????????????

Hello,

It is a 2000 S. It looks like it is 1 1/2 times its normal thickness and some of the zink is showing through the copper around the letters. It is thicker than a nickel. Any value to this coin? It looks like a PF 67 to me. All answers welcome.

I have a couple of these. I also have some MS cents that look the same way. These coins are worth about 1 million dollars each!

Just to clarify what Spooly said, the MS ones are only worth about $100,000 each. It is the proof ones that are worth $1,000,000 each.

Interesting. Hadn't heard of it. What is the weight and does it have high rims?

2.58 grams and it does have high rims. Even if the high rims were removed it would still be thicker than a nickel. It is 1.75 to 2.0 times thicker than a normal penny. I just weighed the penny on a jewlers scale. It weighed 12.90 carats.
