The coin is to complete the set of PROOF ASE's I have.

 

I have been gone so long, I was wondering if there was ever a reason given from the MINT why there were no Proof 2009's made ???

Just bought the 2010

 

Good to see some fresh and new names out there along with the ol fart's :o)

They didn't make them in 2009 because they didn't want you to have one.

Maybe we'll find out that some mint worker actually minted a half dozen 2009 Proof Silver Eagles! We need a great story like that so long as I get one of them.
