For anyone whose interested, I was able to interview John Dale Beety, a numismatic cataloger at Heritage. He was hired by Heritage right out of college and was a prominent YN.

 

The interview is kind of long, but I would advise everyone to read to the end as everything that he has to say is quite important.

i have seen him in the auction cat. employee section and always wondered about the new guy on the block

 

i enjoyed reading the article as he seems like a really good guy and loves coins and even at his young age knows his stuff!!
