Anyone care to guess the grade?

16 posts in this topic

Okay, I posted this on another thread and picked it up yesterday. I know these are scans, but does anyone care to guess the grade, any designation or attribution?

Hint: It's currently in an NGC slab.

I'll post the other image from the dealers website later this afternoon.

All those who guessed MS64 PL, Great Job!

She is an MS64 PL 1884 CC Morgan, in an NGC slab.

In so far as the VAM 2, it's hardly noticeable, and I think if NGC thought this should be labeled as a VAM 2, it would have(?)

The VAM is self labeled by the dealer.

The PL is there in hand, that is a scan you're looking at and not a photograph.

NGC does not attribute all VAM's. Currently they attribute 1878 (8TF, 7 over 8TF & 7TF), Top 100, Hot 50 and Hit List 40.
