How do you spell R-E-L-I-E-F?

Of the ANA medals that I posted in another thread, five of the years, 1969, 1971, 1976, 1978 & 1979, were produced in high relief and thicker slabs were required to house them. To give you an idea, here is the stack of the 10 slabs (silver & bronze) compared to 9 of the normal-sized slabs. As you can see, it takes only 6 of the thicker slabs to just about equal the stack of normal slabs.

PS. I didn't have anything better to do.

Relief is what most modern coins lack most. :(

Any time I get a 1968-1973 Lincoln Cent in change I can tell right away because it looks like a high-relief medallion in comparison with its later brethren.
