General Question on Gold coins

Can anyone tell me if it's worth paying the premium for graded uncirculated vs raw circulated 1 oz gold buffalo $50 coins? Also is the numismatic value more important than the gold value?

These are bullion to nearly everyone. I would buy them without certification and would not waste my money getting them certified.

All the 50.00 Buffaloes get either 69 or 70 anyway, so it's not worth the cert expense.

 

They sure are an attractive coin though!

 

When I share coins with non-collectors, it's my 2007 Buffalo gold that gets the "WOW" not my 1894 MS66 "Blistering Gem" Liberty Nickel
