Adding Photobucket images to Registry sets....HELP !!

7 posts in this topic

I can't figure out how to add Photobucket images to my registry sets.

In the past, if the images were under 120Kb, they would attach; now and then,

when the sellers images are larger than 120 Kb, a friend would reduce the size

for me. I hate bothering him all the time - and have decided to set up a Photo-

bucket account. However, although I can post the Photobucket images to the

Threads...I can't seem to find the way to attach the images to the coin in the

Registry set.

Any suggestions ?

:frustrated:

An image from my Photobucket account...

This is quite funny, really. I just resized this coin directly on PhotoBucket,

and realized the image was too small and I can't reverse the size - so, I just added oversized images again.

But by resizing the coin at Photobucket - the images shrunk here at NGC as well.

I can't seem to resize and send to my PC - I need to play around with this

to get images on my Registry sets.

I think about all you'll be able to do with Photobucket pertaining to the Registry is to re-size it in Photobucket and then import it to your computer. Then use that image for the Registry.

On the image that you just posted, I dragged it to my desktop and if I had that coin (hint) I would just use the the Registry in the way you usually do in posting the image.

Unfortunately, there is no way to link your photobucket pictures to Registry entries, either in the photo section, or in the discussion and comments section. You also can't use HTML markup, post hyperlinks, format, or pretty much do anything except post text and small pictures. I love the registry, but it is unfortunately quite limited.
