Can you tell they are cleaned?

In this auction the seller states all 3 morgans are gently cleaned. Can anyone see it in the scans and what gives it away?

I wouldn't know it from the images, but often a coin has to be tilted and rotated in order to see the cleaning.

The pictures do make the coins look dull, but that isn't necessarily definitive if it's just bad imaging.

I'm with James, the first two appear blatantly cleaned from lack of lustre for the wear. But the third looks alright by the scan.

he responded to my request and seems like an honest guy. Said he submitted them all to NGC and they were ungradeable for cleaning.

 

I bet they still sell for a lot...

I sure can't see that from the images. And I would guess that most viewers would not make such a bold assertion based on those images if they had not been told in advance that the coins were supposedly cleaned.

 

Edited to add: For all we know, the images/lighting could easily make non-cleaned coins look like that.
