Is this about the Langbord coins? I've seen a lot of discussion ATS but I get tired of reading the overboard lawyer synopsis. So, what ya got! :)

what kind of surface/field texture is on the 1933??

 

striated? mint surfaces with lustre like a 27 or 28??

 

or scaley surfaces oike an 08 nm?

 

or are the surfaves sort of matte and/or prooflike?

1933s look just like any other normal production double eagles.

I read the article online as soon as I saw it in the e-mail, absolutely fantastic! A lot of information that many people probably overlook, and most of it not very good for the Treasury's side of things. But as an old professor used to tell me, once it gets to court, it's always a crapshoot!
