Where's the "pearl" on an Israel 5 prutot 1949?

3 posts in this topic

By any chance, would anyone know where the "pearl" would be located on an Israel KM#10, 5 prutot, dated 1949. I read that it would be located beneath the "bar" connecting the wreath at the bottom, but the "bar" is the shape of a football (a skinny one). Is THAT the pearl, or is there something that looks like a pearl BELOW the "football"? My coin has nothing beneath the football.

Thanks. RI AL

Thanks, I guess I have a "no pearl". I guess they are the scarcer of the 2 varieties. Another very minor "treasure" from the odds n' ends kicking around the house.
