2009 Proof Eagle / Answering one of my own questions..

Recently I posted on and asked about any recent news on the 2009 proof eagles in a different topic. Well.. I found some *New* news!

 

Looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel for proofs.

Well, didn't some say 2008 was low ? uh, 700,000+ isn't low !

 

Even 500,000 wouldn't be.. but it would push prices up. I'll be getting a bunch ! won't we all ?

I already have a subscription for 2ea. Prf & Uncir.. If they come out I should get'em at least.

I checked my subscription.. I have it for 3 of them. So in the same boat as you on this one just like the proof sets.

I just checked the Mint's Web Site - nothing yet.

 

I only want one of each - Proof and Mint State.

 

My collection is still raw - and kept in the Mint's

capsules - and inserted in Eagle Brand plastic

pages. As long as the album is not mishandled,

the coins stay in place very nicely.

 

I'm only missing the 1995-W Proof - because

I didn't want to spend $995 for the gold coins

that I don't collect...I have yet to stop kicking

myself ...

Your not alone. I have yet to submit a coin. I actually did the paperwork but the coin still sits on my desk waiting to be shipped. I too did not get the 1995 for the same reason. I have two slabbed coins in my collection.
