An interesting gift

So last night I went to dinner with some friends, and my one friend went to Panama last year and has been meaning to give me a Blaboa coin he saved for me. Well, last night he finally gave it to me, and it turned out to be a half balboa that I believe was struck by the US mint back in 1982. It is clad and identical in size the the Kennedy half, which makes sense since they still peg to the dollar (I didn't know that either!). Very neat coin though!
