Question on the new edge view holder

How does NGC get the coins into the prongs? Are there two pieces and the coin is placed between them? In thinking about a modern proof coin, having someone manhandle them into the prongs seems somewhat disturbing to me. Has this been discussed/revealed?

The white core piece is made of flexible plastic, and it simply rolls over the edge of the coin and, when released, holds it securely. This procedure is safe for any coin.
