I like silver :luhv:

I like the Libertad's with the woman on them.

Although, that 1861 is nice :)

The modern bullion issues from 1982-Date? That's not a woman. It's the Angel of Independence.

Looks like a chick to me. Very.... feminine.... if you know what I mean.

Oh, it's hard to miss what you mean, but it's also hard to miss the two massive wings sticking out of her back.

BTW, great looking silver, Bugs.

Wow, great deal, especially on the 49 onza, I think those sell for like $50 and I've been looking for a nice one! Congrats on the find!

Good deal and nice looking coins. Picture #6, I believe is only .1000% silver but still...looks like you did good!! I see that silver (and gold of course) are on the way back up.

The thing about alot of these Mexican coins - the weight and fineness are right there on the coin. For example, coin #6 to which you refer says it is 27 7/9 grams at 0.720 fineness.

Hey, Physics.

I didn't word my comment correctly. PHOTOS 5 and 6 are of a 1 peso coin, KM 459, 1960. World Coins says 0.1000 silver, .0514 ounces ASW.

Sorry about the mix-up.

Yes, I thought he was referring to the 1960 peso, which is only 0.100 fine and has no markings to indicate fineness or weight, but it contains about 0.05 oz pure silver.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes the 1960 Peso has low silver content but it was thrown in as a freebie. lol

I was stoked when I got home and looked these up in the Krause book and saw that the 1954 5 Peso only had a mintage of 30,000 coins and the 1957 Centennial 10 Peso only had a mintage of 100,000.
