Type 1 was issued in 1975 and type 2 in 1976.

 

T1 has thinner reverse letters and a weaker moon. T2 has thicker letters and a stronger moon.

 

Yours looks like a T2.

Yes, but it is minor. For the proofs it is less than $2 (T1 is more expensive) and for the MS the P-mint is worth 2-3X more and the D-mint is about the same.

But only in GEM grades. Commercial Uncs don't show much of a spread, if at all.
