Taken many moons ago in the Gulf of Mexico, this one got away because it stripped the spool all the way down to the knot

and was pulling the boat around. As I was hanging on for dear life, the skipper finally cut the line.

There ae actually several varieties of this Civil War Token - this one is the large quarter sized token - there is a smaller penny size token of this same merchant which interestingly adds a phrase that references coins (or dealer in coins) - a most interesting token - and nicely toned to boot

Yes indeed. In fact, that is exactly where I do alot of my fishing. And we do have bigger salmon than Lake Michigan.
