Another relatively new Peace Dollar purchase

I didn't quite get this one for $5.50 but I got a decent deal on it. The seller attributed it as a VAM-1A with a doubled left obverse and a micro D as listed in the VAM book. VAM World says the VAM-1A is discontinued and is now the VAM-3A. Well, this isn't the VAM-3A because it doesn't have the die gouge. It does have some minor doubling on the obverse and a die scratch on the reverse below DOLLAR near the rim, but I can't match it with any VAM listed on VAM World.

Still, it's a nice coin that PCGS graded MS63 and I like it. After looking at the 1928-S in my other post I really don't see a lot of difference in the grade. The '28-S is a bit more flashy and the '27-D has just a touch fewer ticks.
