In general I am not a series collector, but I have a definite appreciation for toned Washington quarters from the silver issues of the eagle reverse design. This runs the gamut from dates that typically don't come with much toning-

To coins with relatively little color-

That's a lovely '63-D, Shane. Interesting how the images make it look. It almost looks like the obverse is a brilliant proof and the reverse is a MS. I'm assuming it is MS.

Fantastic coins, everyone. Of course, I'm rather fond of the nickels that have been posted so far, although I just love 'em all! Here are a few proofs I've still got laying around:

I see how it is, Jon, you keep the best stuff for yourself. ;) I love that 64D quarter, that's a monster. How bout some more - I guess I'm open to toners of pretty much any denomination. And I like the foreign stuff, too, specifically French colonial coinage.

Yep MS....I thought it as lovely too but it got bagged at NGC for cleaning which must mean dipped since there are no scrub marks.

You have top of the line toning with top of the line toning to Boot! :cloud9: But I believe that 26' has the best eye appeal of any SLQ I've yet to see. :applause:

For not being able to compete, you've sure got some nice stuff  Your SLQ is gorgeous, and your Merc is Hammered!
