Sacagawea Series 105PR

Does anyone know what Series 105PR Sacagawea Dollar is? I have seen it in some PCGS slabs but know nothing about where it comes from.

You have seen it in coin listings

You have seen it in a coin Value site

At one point PCGS was listing a proprietary coin # and series # on their insert. I don't think anyone ever used them and they stopped listing them a while back.

Its just the PCGS Coin Series number which showed up on all Sacajawea's graded during this period.

 

 

Note the Series 103 on two of these IKE Slabs.

 

 

Since IKE's are Series 103 and Saccies are Series 105, I'd assume that SBA's are Series 104.

PR simply means its the Proof version of the 105 Series.
