Yeah, a strike through is incused. This is a die crack, my understanding is that to be a die break, a whole piece of the die needs to be broken off - i.e., a few steps short of a cud.

My first thought was a planchet defect, but a die crack seems plausible as well.

here is obv. it has damage so its just a fun coin to look at. i may just have it added to my ncs error set.
