Colorized coins

Most of these are baked on enamel. It would probably destroy the coin trying to have it removed. Probably just better left to keeping them or selling them as novelty coins. Most likely, the coins are so common also is why they are colored and probably wouldn't be worth the money to remove. There's always the silver that they are worth anyway!

Early ones were usually enamel but that was time consuming. They ten went to simple paint, then decals, and even a "printed" method where the image is literally sprayed on using the same technology as that used in color inkjet printers.
