Original Original Original 1836 Bustie

4 posts in this topic

should I repeat, original?

we can always argue originality since very few busties have a known history that extends way back when, but this coin is as original as original can get...in my opinion. The photos are awful because the holder is SO scratched up. There are no scratches on this entirely unmolested coin. I love it. In fact, this 'common date' Bustie is almost impossible to find like this. Usually, the cheek is rubbed and even in MS specimens, often has different toning qualities that make it look ugly ugly ugly. This is a really nice one...for those not into bright flash and dipped retoned in cotton candy colors.

Beautiful dove grey/brown layered centrally, terminating in a peripher golden brown which shows nice cartwheeling..soft under that toning, but nice, in the protected areas.

$693.00 includes registered insured mail. If you'd like another kind of mailing, I'll look up the cost.

Accurately graded as a 58 by NGC.

Thanks for looking!

I would love it, but unfortunately it's not in the budget right now, unless you would trade for gold bullion.
