Guess the grade---1871 Liberty Seated Dollar

For what ever the reason, I cannot photograph Liberty on the shield. In hand it is full but in pics it appears incomplete-the lower part of the "B" has a small scuff on it, perhaps that is a reason, but it just could be that I stink as a photographer. This is the coin I purchased rather than the one that fell through that I had previously shown(1872). Now only the "No Motto" LSD and my 7070 is complete.

Looks like an XF 40 to me. And a crunchy one at that!

Thanks, Dave, I wish you were right, but I could only grade it VF 20 at best.

I like it and its color fits my LS coins in the Dansco-so I'm happy.

I would go VF35 on this LSD.
