1921 Peace dollar help

I'm thinking of buying this one. Do you think the black spot's would keep it from a NGC holder? Also about what grade do you see it as?

I don't think the spots would keep it from slabbing, but I don't find them particularly attractive.

 

Agreed. As for grade :shrug: almost impossible to tell from that picture. I could see anything between AU-50 and MS-64.

I think the spot's kept it at this grade. I will send it to NCS and then off to NGC should be a nice one for my type set either way. Thank you all for the replies

Here are my pic's which I feel portray the coin alot better. The spot's are no where as noticeable in hand .

Definitely a big difference there! I had guessed MS-61 before exclusively because of a point downgrade for the spots, but since they are quite a bit less apparent in-hand, then the deduction is not necessary, and I'd agree with the MS-62.
