Looks solid 63 shot 64, of course who knows in todays hard standards.

That would be great I'll be happy with a AU 55

Well, you have it in hand, can't really tell contact marks from that scan or picture. It could be a 55 but who knows. Doesn't appear to be too many harsh contact marks, but the hair is flat around the ear, could be lite circulation? What does the coin look like in hand? Luster? Would be nice if pics could show some nice cartwheel luster!

Not in hand yet but seller thought AU either way I think the price was good but does it pay to get it slabbed for extra resale value down the road?

I can't tell from the photo, but if it is a VAM4, it is worth about $280 in MS62 and only $50 in AU. It may not be worth grading if it is lacking sufficient lustre.
