A SLQ Set (large scan dialuppers beware)

16 posts in this topic

Here is a scan of my set of standing libertys I put together several years ago. I tried to get Ef-Au at the time.

I have since picked up some slabbed MS examples but left this set as matched as possible. The 26-S even is a teardrop variety.

I hope you like the set as much as I do.

What do you think?

Thanks for looking,

Gary

Very nice set of SLQ'S there 1946hamm...shows coins in various states of wear all in one shot!

Can you expound on this description of the 1926-S

"The 26-S even is a teardrop variety."

I am not familiar with this description.

COOL! Nice looking set that obviously you spend a lot of time and effort on. Congratulations! :applause:

So, are you finished with the set, or is it now upgrade time?

Thanks for all the comments.

I tried to build a EF-AU set and have pretty much done that. I consider this set complete.

The 1918-S was the last one for this set and I got it in the spring of 2000.

I have been attempting to get some varieties to add to my SLQ's such as cuds and certain die cracks.

I also have some mint state coins in slabs but the high cost of a mint state set is prohibitive for me especially now since I'm retired.
