I would tend to agree, the light is coming from one angle, but the toning on this one IS unbalanced to begin with, so the pic is not actually that far off and accurately depicts where the toning is lighter and darker.

That is an impressive trick - aging a coin ten years just by changing the angle and lighting. Hmm, I'll have to get a 1926D mercury dime and give it a try.
