In Honor of my newest guitar post a coin, token or medal with a musical theme or related to music. The guitar is an All Orginal 1973 Fender Telecaster Deluxe! Mint as ever!!

[font:Comic Sans MS]The Republic of Somalia issued six multi-colored guitar coins dated 2004 to commemorate fifty years of Rock and Roll. These multi-color guitar coins are designed after famous electric guitars and include the classic red and white Gibson Les Paul, an American Flag stars and stripes Gibson Flying V, a black Gibson Flying V, a pink star Guitar used by various rock stars including Gary Glitter and Abba, a blue Gibson X-Plorer and a yellow Klein. The coins are copper nickel in composition, plated with silver and then enameled on the obverse in the colorful designs depicted above. The reverses are plain silver in color (not enameled) and read "ONE DOLLAR, SOMALI REPUBLIC, 2004" around a crest.[/font]
