Mint damage or Post Mint damage?

I believe it could be a legitimate planchet error. The only thing that bothers me is I would think it would be unusual for a planchet crack to be through three different layers but towards the edge of the strip it should be possible as it stretches during the rolling process, and I have seen cracked clad planchets before.

This is a 1948D .900 silver dime, not clad.
