Looks more like an artist's rendition than an actual medal. Are you sure it actually went into production?

I know there is a book published (I believe the author's name is Forrer) about medals produced in conjunction with the Olympics, but I don't know if it covers the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

 

I'll do some further checking and see what I can find.
