Just won my first CC Morgan.........

How do you liker her? I think I got a good price on the coin. I'm guessing 64, maybe 65 on a good day. NCI graded it 65 back in the 80's.

Those auction pictures are not very helpful, particularly the larger ones of the coin itself. The coin is oriented in a way that might hide flaws and give it a dull, lusterless look.

 

I am not saying that it has been dipped or has flaws, only that you will have to have it in hand. But if it grades above MS60 you are safe and if it hits 65 or better you hit the jackpot!

If you look again, I don't believe that is ANACS.

 

My first CC morgan was an 1889 CC that I got at a pawn shop for $15. It graded G-4, but still, that was a good deal.
