A toned Washington - added obv pic

6 posts in this topic

I'm playing around tonight trying to image some toned proofs. This is from a group of proof sets I've had stored away for at least 15-16 years, they were stored in the 3 piece plastic capital holders. I've got several in flips that are going in to NGC if they ever move my last order out of QC, the group includes a couple of nicely toned proof Washintons, same in Roosevelts, and three very nice Franklins. Unless someone tells me to stop hurting their eyes with my poor photography I'll try to get a couple done every night.

I know I should take them out of the flips but I figured why take the chance, I'm lucky I got them in without dropping them all over the place. This is very nice with a band of blue on the outside and then gold inside.
