The accented hair 1964 Proof Kennedy half dollar is not that scarce. There are what 100,000 or so of them? I've understood that about 3% of the mintage, which was 4 million, were the accented hair variety.

 

I think that he made out on the shipping. If I have this straight the shipping was $4.55 ($8.49 - $3.94). Last week I paid $4.09 to send a $185 coin first class insured in a little box.
