All images are unretouched except for being cropped. First are two thumbnails at 400x400 pixels. They are shrunken from the following 2400x2400 pixel images.

 

I took no special pains to catch these shots (which is probably why they aren't that great lol ), taken with a single overhead 40 watt bulb. I held the camera half an inch from each face of the coin and did not white-balance.

If you keep this up, I'm going to have to buy a bigger monitor! :)

 

With a little tweaking, those would be some great pictures. What kind of camera is it?

These images do not do a coin justice. My camera takes pics at this pixel also james, and I tell ya, I have to shrink them to normal because my coins look like that big!! lol Nice pics tho'.
