Care to offer a grade on my new 7070 addition? (Seated Quarter)

Picked this up for 100 bucks on the Bay, raw. Care to offer an oppinion and grade? The coin does have a fair amount of luster, not readily seen in the photo.

Looks decent enough. Would likely grade it 53-55.

I'll go with AU53 and possibly retoned after a light cleaning.

Maybe I'm too conservative. I was debating with myself between XF45 and AU50. I thought the wear on the eagles leg and wing might be too much for an AU. With sufficient luster the obverse could go AU. Maybe that is strike weakness I'm seeing on the reverse.

I'm in the AU camp. I don't see any evidence of an old cleaning in the pics, so it's hard for me to say if it was dipped or if a more problematic type of cleaning was done to this coin (looks more like the former than the latter). Regardless, I like the coin and think it will look good in your Dansco.

If it were an "O" mint, I'd be at AU.

I like it at 53... I might see evidence of an old cleaning that's retoned nicely...L
