1997 Satin Finish Jefferson Nickel with the P Mint mark?

I realize there were only 25,000 of this coin. What set was this coin included in?

It was part of the Botanic Gardens silver dollar, currency and nickel set that was issued in 1997. It was the reason why that set was so popular and why its price quickly exceeded the issue price.

 

Many collectors, included those who were very loyal mint customers, had their order conceled because the mintage limit. That made lots of people angry.

Where would you find one of these sets today? And what would be a rough estimate of the price?

They also had a Matte SMS Nickel for 1994 - Came in the Jefferson Coin and Currency Set - Also very limited production

they show up on eBay every couple weeks - $175-$220 final sales - make sure you do not get the 1997-S Prestige set which has the Botanic Gardens dollar
