That is terribly sad news. I knew "Killer" for many years and will remember him as a kind man who was always good natured, upbeat (including when he was ill) and enjoyable to be around. Here's to you, "Killer".

I knew Howard Nelson (H&M Coins) when he had his business in Kankakee, IL (where I grew up). In fact, I would go there with my sister (Howard's wife Marge sold used books and my sister would be looking at books while I was looking at coins). This was in the mid 1980's and I started collecting coins about that time. Howard was in business in Kankakee until 1990, I believe, when another coin dealer opened up. The store that he had in Kankakee was bulldozed about 5-7 years ago when a new Walgreens was being built. I credit my visits to Howard's shop with my interest in coins. His friends in Kankakee will certainly miss him.
