How many ANACS photocertificates were ever issued and still exist?

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas about how popular the old ANACS photocertificates were. I have a few, including a handful that I recently acquired. Thanks in advance!

(... and Happy New Year!)

Back in early to mid 1980s ANACS certificates were as common in Coin World ads as NGC and PCGS slabs are now. There were even a two tier ads for "old" and "new" certificates for a short time after ANACS changed their standards. "Old" and "new" were determined by the dates on the certificates. That led to ALL services NOT putting dates on anything.

I would guess there are some certificates left over from some old collections that have not been on the market for years, but you will find very few of them in dealers' inventories. The only time I see them now is when dealer has a yucky, hard to sell problem coin where he or she is trying to boost the chances of moving it. Otherwise ANACS certificates are like fossils. Reminders of a by-gone era.
