$30 Challenge: 1909 VDB Lincoln Cent

 

 

I planned on bidding on this coin a short while back, but I wasn't able to get back to the computer before bidding was over. I'd like to buy a similar looking AU condition 1909 VDB lincoln cent (photos below). I value clean, smooth fields, an even brown color (not too dark), and no green "gunk" or spotting. Problem-free and uncleaned is a must. Raw is fine.

 

I'm a little flexible on the $30, if it's close and I like your coin.

Thanks for the links, guys. My thoughts won't offend, I hope:

The first one's photos make me a little leary.

The second one has me wondering about the color.

The third one doesn't look too bad, although the lack of a reverse image would prevent me from bidding up to my max. Also, the color isn't quite right for my album on that one.

 

I'm really looking for a brown coin like the one in my example, as it's going into my Dansco album with a bunch of other brown coins. I'd like it to match them.

 

Please, if anything else strikes your eye, let me know, though!
