It would have been nice to find them 1000 coins at a garage sale. I would definately retire.

One of my dealer friends at the Baltimore show told me that I should sell everything. He says I could bank the money and buy back a lot of rarities when the current market crashes. Having been a collector during the sky rocket – crash and burn market of 1978 – 1980, he might be right. Still I’ve got too much collector in me to do it.

 

In fact, like a lemming, I upgraded my Gobrecht dollar at the Baltimore show at a price that … well let’s say it might be too much. But Proof-62 is probably the best Gobrecht dollar I’ll ever be able to afford, and it even came with the CAC seal of approval.
