Teletrade crashes and burns

FYI Teletrade crashed and burned last night before their Wednesday auction was completed. Their site is still down with plans to be back up later this afternoon. I called about a bid because I have a chance at another coin and was told that the auction will be completed tomorrow (Friday) evening with the last bids being the starting bids so noone needs to rebid their coins. That has to cost them some serious monies

You bet it does. At TTR you do not know if your are bidding against the owner or some rabid collector who will stop at nothing to get the item.

That's true for most major auctions. It's also true for eBay as you never really know.
