the other evening me and my friend were bored and flippin chanels.when we noticed that they were doing a mint special and we flipped to it. it was awsome! they showed some of the westpoint mint and philly mint. they even had a walk through in slow motion on how they make the gold,plat,and few others.it takes 5 "punches"to get the design onto plat.3 for gold and 2 for reg proofs.o ya i forgot to say they were showing proof making

That is a pretty good show. I have seen it several times. I wish they would update it and show the process for creating the reverse proofs from last year.

i had never seen it b4 but it was very educational! it would also be nice for them to cover the difference between the modern proofs and the older proofs and how they were done

i dont know how i feel about that machinest that makes "novelty" fakes tho! it is a lil iffy to me
