I have said this many times but I am still very appreciative of the help that MikeinFl gave me to point me in the right direction for coin photography.

 

I took the first photo with my usual set-up, 3 50 watt lights, 1/100th shutter and auto-focus. I then dimmed all the lights to almost nothing, set the camera for a 10 second exposure and the colours just EXACTLY match the coin in hand.

 

Don't be afraid to try different setting/times etc. It's a lot of fun. Thanks again to MikeinFl!!!!
