  2. Doogy, that fella does look vaguely familiar!

     

    Got my 50th anniversary token/medal dated 1809 and posted as a possilbe overstrike. Only 25 mm and 1 mm thick. Rather than being struck over another coin or medal,

    it appears that the 1809 date was originally punched in the center but then was repunched to leave more room for the words ("THE" is now in the center).

    that is a very strange repunch yarm i wonder if you could find a one with the 1809 still in the center ?

    I have just picked this 1989 Prestige set up in Germany for £9.20 whats the going rate for these sets ? as i am thinking of busting it open for my Dansco 7070 and my lincoln cents dansco !!! if the value is low on the set..

    it looks like the 1791 large eagle type could you tell me if it is edge lettered " UNITED STATES OF AMERICA . * .

     

    I would gess it is in EF condition from the scans (at least) and is worth a fair wack of $'s
