Shane - I noticed the "wink" icon at the bottom of your post
for the 1879 Stella - and what a coin that is !! For a second
I thought it was for real - but as its [ just past Midnight though ]
April Fool's Day, I thought it was a joke.
No joke - here's a coin I have lusted for and begged for
from another Barber Half Collector; we arranged a swap
for five of my duplicates for this beauty.
when i seen you coin i could not help myself (thumbs u
all the best dooly

Sweet like chocolate & nice finds all
Quiet weekend on eBay this week (trying to keep my head down so they don't kick me off again)
SELLERS PICTURES
Is it me or has this IHC got a small 1 in the date ?
Seems like this could be a sweet NT shield picture has been greatly enlarged
Not a coin but may be of interest ? (cheers for the advice on this purchase)
happy hunting

Nice coins, everyone! I haven't found much to buy recently, but came across this coin at the show sponsored by the Gorham Coin Club (my local club) last weekend. The Mint hand engraved the outer leaf on the second, right laurel cluster of almost all working dies pressed from Obverse Hub A, but a few slipped through, giving us the missing leaf varieties. There are missing leaf varieties for each year that Obverse A was used, 1866 through the beginning of 1869. This coin is the first missing-leaf variety from 1869 that I've found in mint state condition.
OH! i am so jealous .. i guess i would have had to buy that ML if i had been there !!
it has some nice die cracks as well
I am so glad we live on different continents or we would have to do some battling for these !!
I know you know your biscuits but is this a bit of a misplaced 1 in the ball ?

Dooley,
Can you tell us a little about this piece. It is interesting.
Rey
Hi rey .. sure can
The token is a Duke of northumberland perambulation token AKA. these tokens were given to people by the Duke so they could prove to his Keepers/tenets that they had is permission to be on his land.. or they would have been shot or kicked off.
Do you have anything similar in the USA ?
