It's about time you started reading and learning for yourself. A few questions asked as a new collector here on this forum are welcomed. However, we are not your personal free prescreen grading company or coin consultants. Your posts generally strictly have to do with grade and value questions which indicates you are a profiteer and not a serious collector. As such you will get no assistance from me as to the value or conditions of your coins. You must learn this for yourself as we did. We aren't here to help you make money. Sorry. I urge my fellow members to also follow my lead on OPs such as this. Tough love. It's still love but just tougher. Cheers and have a great day!
Also as the comment that I'm just out to get money you're incorrect there my friend I'm going through my collection and weeding out the things that are worth a little bit of money that are common so that I can turn around and further my collection take your horse blinders off you're not the only one around

Then maybe you should go complain to NGC and tell them that they need to change the description of the room and you really need to quit thinking you're better than everybody because you ain't nobody bro

Q.A. I see... Personally, emmure sounds demure, and I like it, but what's the point of reinventing yourself if you leave the old, tell-tale leopard spots behind?
🐓 : True. I just don't want to see Frff go... Pfft.
Don't know why you think I was in a hurry to go anywhere because I never left I'm just not an insufficiently_thoughtful_person I know when to shut my mouth there's guidelines to follow so that you don't break any policies and as far as your comment saying that I sound more demure that term is actually used for women and I am anything but shy or reserved as a matter of fact I'm covered from head to toe and tattoos have a great day 😉

I posted a few pictures but they are all from 1959 to 1963 each roll contains the same year and mint mark

Never mind I just realized it's a 1990 with no s mint mark but is this still a proof

Thanks yeah I was just reading up on that pretty much considered damage I appreciate it

Okay are they pretty common I'm still getting the hang of this and learning I've got so many coins to go through it's ridiculous but I love it

I was just going through my coins and noticed the die chips but then I also noticed on the date that it almost looks like there's another number on there and I think there's a possible doubled die on AmericaI don't know look at these pictures and tell me what you see and what you think I'm just beginning in this

1. Must have a face value of 5 cents.
OR
2. Made from nickel alloy.
We have a silver thread and a copper thread. I thought it was about time to give nickel some love. Post what ya got. Foreign or domestic, old or new, half dimes, 3 cent nickels, Buffs, Jeffs, Libs, etc.

Oh no I have passed up many many coins because I could tell they were cleaned or polished that one is just one that was left to me when the family member that I was a caretaker for passed away you can clearly tell it's not natural too shiny not at dull.i would just get someones opinion who has been around for a while knowledge is priceless
-
That's kind of what I figured is they're just going on the detail grade and that by the damage that the cleaning or polishing did this one was passed down to me with all the other ones and I'm pretty sure it's not a proof it does this look like somebody cleaned and polished it it's just way too shiny it has a mirror finish
-
That is pretty much the only thing I like about purchasing off eBay as they have a 100% guarantee if you're not satisfied with your product you will get your money back I just bought one for $60 and after researching it it was only $32 so for the most part I haven't been going through the coins thoroughly I've been separating them by year mint mark and denomination that way it makes it easier on me when I finally do decide to sit down and really look at all of them
-
I was satisfied with the purchase I thought I did okay so my question is is when I buy a coin that is graded and it says polished or clean can I still go by that Ms number that they put on there to look through a price catalog? Or is that strictly just for the details like I said I'm still trying to figure things out

Lol thanks I left him a post and showed him the description of the forum room I said maybe you want to go to NGC and complain to them about it and I'm not here just to get the value on my coins I'm trying to find the cheaper coins that are worth a little bit of money to go and get better coins to further my collection ones that interest me like the krona or the ore
